Forensic Engineering
SEFC provides extensive forensic engineering services on an array of subject matter. Assistance can range from a general review and opinion provision to a detailed evaluation of a problem set. Services include failure and causation analyses, extent of damage assessments, repair and/or remediation recommendations, construction document preparation and provision, oversight and assistance with construction estimations and expert witness involvement.
SEFC provides multi-discipline forensic engineering and failure analysis of buildings and their related components, assisting its clients with cases involving construction defects and structural failures along with independent reviews of involved parties’ responsibilities during the course of constructions. Furthermore, since SEFC is staffed with practicing design engineers who are fully aware and qualified to opine as to standards of practice and building codes, its clients are provided with practical and well-founded remediation and/or construction documentations in building defects and liability cases.
